BE STILL

THIS MORNING GOD SPOKE TO ME ABOUT "BE STILL AND KNOW I AM GOD" AND THEN AGAIN WHILE AT CELL GROUP, IT ALL CAME OUT ALTOGETHER AGAIN.TO BE STILL BEFORE GOD WE HAVE JUST PUT DOWN EVERYTHING WITHIN OURSELVES,EMOTIONAL HURTS AND PAIN BEFORE HIM AND JUST DESIRE SO DESPERATELY HIS PRESENCE, SOMETIMES WHEN THE EMOTIONS GETS PRETTY OVERWHELMING...DON'T SUPPRESS IT! LAY IT DOWN BEFORE GOD AND THE PAIN WE FEEL GOD KNOWS EVEN BEFORE WE SPEAK THOUGH AT TIMES WE JUST CANNOT VERBALISE IT.HE WILL COMFORTS US AND COUNSEL US THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IF WE NEED DIRECTION HE LEADS ALLOWING US TO SEE CIRCUMSTANCES THROUGH HIS EYES AND NOT OURS...
WHEN WE LEARN TO OBEY AND MAKE OURSELVES MOLDABLE BEFORE GOD,LETTING HIS WILL BE OUR WILL AND DESIRES,WHEN WE EMPTY OURSELVES AND LET GOD USE US IN HIS SPECIAL WAY,WE'LL SEE WHAT MARVELLOUS AND EXTRAORDINARY THINGS HE CAN DO THROUGH US. TO BE ABLE TO OBEY YOU MUST LOVE GOD AND FOCUS ON HIM ALONE.

Scorned by the ones He came to save

The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Til he returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
